7.62x39 & 9mm Luger Ammo Find - The Firearms Forum

Went to a local range this past Sunday with 2 friends of mine, I took my AK & my 30-30. I shot 20 rounds through the AK for grins and I sighted my scope in on my 30-30. My buddy just bought a Trijicon Acog for his AR that he sighted in and his brother bought a RRA LAR15 that he broke in. When we were finished I asked the lady in the front if they had any 7.62x39 ammo, she said Yes and they were $15.00 a box of 20???

I said no thanks and we were on our way. Yesterday I stopped by a local Academy and they had over 2 cases of 7.62x39 for $5.99, but they limit them to 1 box per caliber per person per day with a max of 3 calibers. So I made a few calls and ended up with 5 boxes at the end of the day. This morning I went back and they still had a ton left, so I picked 1 more box of 7.62x39 and 1 box of 9mm Luger. I am super happy now
