Default Interesting video

Very biased towards "only police ..." but many very good points brought up about you will fight the way you train.

People can go to the range 7 days a week and shoot paper targets and steel targets from a ready position and bang that bullseye every time. Put the stress and adrenaline into the senerio and then have to come from a full covered draw and most of the paper shooters will react the same way the people in this video did. I myself have taken numerous hours practicing a draw from under a shirt and also just drawing from on open position, And may still fault when a combat situation is ever put on me. For those that dont practice drawing their pistol they may have a rude awakening some day.

I didn't watch it either, it's just some more of the same old BS that they have been spitting out! If you watch it you will notice that everything is stacked in the cops (shooters) favor! The young folks they have chose don't know which end of the gun the bullet comes out of. If you go along with this type of thinking then you will give up your right to carry for SD, simply because you can't get the training that the cops do! Let's turn things around, the way they should be in these videos. Put the CCW (experienced) holder in the class room, and have the students (inexperienced) come barging in with a gun, shooting up the class room! Things come out different, don't they?

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Well, I told you it was biased, didn't I. There are still something to be learned, however. If you are willing to learn from other's mistakes, that is.

Then there is this one.

now a quick look into bethlahem PD shows 1 21 major complaints of police violence against un armed people and they want all people un armed except for cops ??

so

it must be more dangerous for them while they beat people to death ( 3 occasions by this PD ) if they are un armed

poor babies ...

Nothing in the police training that a good club can't cook up on its own. We have competitions in my gun club that could match what they are doing on the range in the video (using gallery rifles, not hand guns).

But the paper targets don't shoot back or move around, so even police training can't measure up to the real thing. I went through the same FATS (Fire Arms Training Simulator) scenarios that reporter went through, only got "shot" once in 4 different scenarios. I overheard the Police captain sitting next to me telling the reporter that I was a volunteer and this is how well a civilian could respond.
