getting away fishing that part of the world with some mates ( no shiela's) is a good thing

and 50 groups of blokes get to enjoy it each year just by buying a box of beer and sending in the entry

up there they get these fish called Golden Trevally 30 kilos of explosives and scales and teeth getting one of these onto a beach is great fun , but does attract the sharks so getting them in in one piece is a real trick for the second and following fish

do like we all do , by a case of XXXX send in the label with you and 3 mates names and if your chasen you go , and its all free ( I think you gotta be in Oz to play they state they'll fly you from anywhere in Oz)

they drop you off with supplies and a radio and leave you for a week ( but theres a medical station 6 islands over about 7 miles straight line ... got a hassle they'll come get ya and if needed fly you to hospital on the mainland )

and it happens every week and they've commited to 10 years so they should be able to get a few folks through the place

This kinda place is gona attract men that are wealthy, work hard and play hard.

We have an international tarpon rodeo in Grand Isle. Boats from all over the world show up and its a 4 day non stop party and everything and anything goes. Not uncommon to see totally nude women on the boats.

An Island like this will have to truck in women at least red light women or you will end up with a gay island. Thats just my thought.

I like the idea. I would move there and run the house of ill repute. I need a career change and lots of cold beer and good fishing just feet away.

some folks rent big boats in the USA and hit the sea for a week

here we have a couple thousand islands too small to live on in any real way

and it dont have to screw the environment

heck i'll wager theres more turtles there now than ever before ( but i cheat i read there where )

they dug up all the rocks on the beach so the turtle like it better to lay eggs and its a fact more eggs are hatching now than ever recorded and in tutrle time they rope off sections of the beach ( all the PC enviro rules are met)

Do you guys have any idea how bad I want to smart off and say, "screw beer guys, lets go to walmart and take pics of ourselves with kids masks on our faces. Now that's fun. The hell with a private island to ourselves for a week with no honeydo list, and a bar. Hell no, kids masks yea!!!!!"

hey its ok what suits the average aussie male may not suit everyone ,

thats what beers for ..

up that way surface patrol free diving , set out to grab a couple nice kitten's ( rock lobsters but small ones about 2 lb avg that way ) or put in a trap along a mangrove section to get some mud crabs or maybe blue swimmers

cook him up to not quite don , crack him open ( drain him well not cooked juice is foul )

toss him in a wok with some onions garlic chilli and sesame oil

remove when done

toss in some greens and serve before the greens wilt

wrap ya spicy crab bits in ya greens and you have a rather decent and healthy feed

washed down with a couple ales , watch the sun set over ya float for calamari

i could see some folks having hassles with that ..
