Default H & R Topbreak 32 Revolver

I have a H & R, 32 caliber, 6 shot, top break revolver I received from my father-in-law. The patent dates across the rib are Oct. 4, 87, May 14 & Aug 6, 89, April 2, 95, April 7, 1896. It has a three inch barrel with the target grips. There is no caliber information anywhere on the barrel. The serial number is 14517 with what I believe to be an E in front of the numbers.
Can anyone advise as to what version and variation this is and possible worth? I am assuming this is black powder only.
Thanks in advance.
