Hotkins and Allen " Forehand " Reassemble help needed.

First let me introduce myself, I am Ron, a first time poster. I will thank you in advance for any information you can offer.
I have a Forehand model H&P 12 gauge break shotgun. I removed the bolt that separates the gun and when I try to reassemble, it lacks about .050 from getting the bolt back in.
Is there a combination for reassembling this. The barrel will not lock into the lug.

Never mind gents, I figured it out. It has to be in the cocked position.
