Lightbulb Your being watched

I was doing some reading on internet surfing and having people tag along with you without your knowledge. There are numerous ad companies, social networks and tracking companies that know every single site you have been to.
Personally, I don't want people to know what I am up to because it's none of their flippen business.
I found a company who makes a tracking blocker and installed it on my computer, and I was surprised at how many different companies that get blocked by the blocker. Here is a link to it if your interested. Best of all it's free!

after it's installed there will be a little icon in your toolbar display...I use firefox and it's probably similar for ie or chrome. It will have the number tracking site blocked in the center of the icon.

I didn't have any problems with it.
In one day of surfing it has blocked 1045 tracking attempts...that's a lot
Norton antivirus said it was safe to install.

Here is the article I read about people tracking you, it's also where I got the link for the blocker at the bottom of the article.

Those who really want to know who you are and where you live etc. are able to trace you inspite of your blocker with a 97% success rate. It better be free!

I've had DNT Plus on my computers for about 3 months now. I'm sitting at about 350,000 blocks on this one alone.

When you get it installed there will be times when it will block something you want to be open for a moment. An example is doing a "like" on a news story or other post on a website with that setup. You click once and it is blocked. Then you click again and it goes through. The little icon in the upper right corner will then turn orange or yellow, instead of green. Just click to open it and you can turn that block back on.

Everybody and thier brother already has that information. That's what I get for having a CCL and working at a nuke plant. But if this will stop some annoying ads and the general idiots on the net, it's worth the price. I'd even pay double.

I've had it for about a month, and I'm over 30k blocks. I'm a fan.

No argument from me. Big brother and the mother of invention has been painstakingly trying their best to keep our access to internet as another open window into our personal lives, to the furthest degree the law will allow, and then some.
And the law is on their side because they also want the ability to access that information.

Anyone that's tracking me will end up losing a lot of brain cells scanning some of the useless crap I surf. Let them follow.

Google uses chrome for tracking.

As for not being tracked get Mozilla. Then get the following ad on's Adblock plus, Trackmenot and Noscript. Then get a copy of Zone alarm ( free) and keep all those on and nothing will track you.
