I have friends with the Mossberg. It is economical. Not very good reviews from those I know who own it. Of course, maybe they think they bought a .556. Ammo consistency is also a factor. Upper end velocity and a good bullet coating make all the difference. I am partial to the Colt. But even with the Colt high velocity and copper coat are highly recommended for best performance. Actually, that is with any .22 semi auto. And you can always get a lemon regardless of the manufacturer. Colts and HK imitations both made by very sound company but for a few more dollars. Depends on what your expectations are.

i wonder if its possible to cut out the original hand guard and put a real delta ring in and magpul hand guard?
