Default 2nd annual TFF BBQ * Sept 14,15,16 *

It's time to start planning to attend the 2nd Annual TFF BBQ. This year the dates will be SEPT 14,15 and 16. Come early if you want. Tent camping will be available and we will have room for a few self contained campers and motorhomes. The location will be in Dalton,Ga. Dan Bailey is allowing us to use his place again. Plenty of room for a big crowd.

Sept will be cooler so we won't have to endure the heat we had last year. Plenty of food and fun for everyone. And it will be a perfect time to learn the fine art of smoking Pork and Chicken.

Hope we get a big crowd this year! The wife, and I, are counting on being there! I have a small car, but will give a ride for up to two people, from East TX.

5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.

21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

I for one am looking forward to it.

If there is anyone that needs a ride from around here or AL, GA, LA, FL, ya'll are welcome to meet up with me on my way. Or come by here either one. Would enjoy the company on the ride up.
If you are interested just let me know.

Can someone give an idea of what we would need to bring? I mean, is the food provided or do we all bring our own? Any planned activities or such? Sorry to sound stupid but I've never been.

This one is on TFF and I'll buy whatever funds allow. Probably hot dogs on Friday and BBO Pork and Chicken on Saturday. You may want to bring a few soft drinks iced down in a cooler. If you have a local BBQ sauce you like, bring it. Members like trying things from different parts of the country.

Planned activities ??? You may want to wear some waders. It can get deep.

As it stands right now, I will be there again. The wife said she was not going this time so maybe I will get to stay later this time. Might bring my Granddaughter with me. Hopefully my Grandson, who will be 18 in May, will be in the military by then since he wants to join the Army.

Bob, it would be great to have you and BJ back again this year.

Would anyone like some live music on Sat night??

I have friends that are great musicians. I'll even check with Songman and see if anyone out of Nashville would be willing to stop by. He know EVERYONE.

I want this event to be BIG this year.

Marlin, you still have some time before Sept. Maybe some of our other members would like to car pool with you.

Just a thought.

Josh, sorry to hear that Becky, and the kids may not come, but I understand why. Still, they will be missed, and the rest of us will not get to see those lovely kids of yours, not to mention your better half. If you want, you can park your truck here, and ride in with us. It will save you some money, and we would enjoy the company.

For those of us that will need a place to sleep, there are motels close to the event, that's where we will be staying.

If the body will cooperate I any planning on making this one. I will be driving down from central Ohio and will have seats available for anyone interested. I will need the motel info and hopefully can stay at the same motel other TFF members are locating. I'm flexible on the leave and return dates at this time. Todd.
