Default The Troops have it right, the silence says so.

I don't know if it's been posted before but here is how American troops react to a POTUS that they can respect.

Two different types of meetings. One certainly more formal than the other, hard to scream and applaud when you're at attention.

seen similar over the years here

we had a anniversary of the Royal Australian Regiment here recently

the Cooks got greater applause than the Prime Minister ( socialist in chief)

but they did a outstanding job ,

the PM aint done anything decent yet

There would be not screaming and applauding even if they were not at attention..

Quite obviously - and they wouldn't be standing at attention at all except they were ordered to because they didn't respect him to begin with.

I think we all liked George. He may have made some mistakes but was and is today a good man. I voted for him both times.

I noticed the guy introducing George was wearing a shoulder holster. S'pose there was a gun in it? Secret Service is pretty fussy about stuff like that, I understand.

Darn straight there wouldn't have been any enthusiastic response to this Putz Of the United States even if they weren't at attention.

As Bush says, "Ya miss me now?" I miss him, he's a great guy.
