Default 15 OCTOBER 1967...IN MEMORY OF.....

a C-130E (tail number 640548) of the 776th Tactical Airlift Squadron crashed at Khe Sanh while attempting a low altitude supply drop. All six men aboard the aircraft died in the crash:

Thanks Jack...I printed that daughter's story and posted it over on the Seabee SMUG MUG...Many readers there are Khe Sanh survivors and veterans...that terrible arm-pit of creation was as close to hell as many of the troops will ever come to experience...Chief
