My daughter made this yesterday while I was working, I just had to show it off. Now this is what Apple Pie is supposed to look like. Completely home made. I taught her well, didn't I?

Reminds me of Mr. Nightlinger, in The Cowboys. Describin' making an apple pie. "Three slits in the crust - one to let the steam out, and the other two 'cause that's the way your Mama did it".

She will be back over here tomorrow and I will ask her. I think she used an egg wash, but will let you know the details after I talk to her.
