I got out to the range recently with Winchester's Model 1886 Extra Light .45-70 rifle to have some fun with black powder .45-70 cartridges.
I like this rifle. It is beautiful and very well balanced, but the action is not as smooth as nineteenth century 1886s, due in large part to all the lawyer parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuH2z9Yumxo
