Another officer involved shooting.

The bar's owner said that the officer had two shots and another drink that night.

Oops - damn that last drink - forgot my gun was there. Darn! My leg hurts - what was that 'bang' sound?

"There was nothing criminal about what happened," OPD Sgt. Fred Lopez said Wednesday. "He was off duty."

"We do have a policy that says you cannot be drinking and carrying a firearm."

um...I don't know about California but in many states not carrying while consuming alcohol is not policy, it's the law. This is inexcusable for a police officer. In my opinion he should be fired.
