I need to order a mag for this rifle But im not sure which one. DOes anyone recognize the stock or bottom metal? Im thinkin it a McMillain stock and might use the AICS mag. Rifle is a .308 win. Rem 700

I can't answer your question, but that is a nice looking rifle.

I just wonder why someone would build a rifle using a 700 and modify it in a way that standard mags would not work. Just curious.

Its a mag capacity thing John. If im right about this one using AICS mags then it can utilize a .308 mag with up to 20 rd capacity. That on a BA repeater is a tactical shooters cherry pie.

The stock is a Bell and Carlson.

Don't think it is a AICS bottom though.
