Bowing to political pressure, and wishing to avoid a public relations blunder of the first order, the Bloomster has canceled the marathon. Right move, but I suspect too late in the game to avoid some really bad press.

Looked up PUTZ in the Urban Dictionary; no matter whether you're going with the old Yiddish meaning or later ones, all of them describe what's his name to a T. It is NOT a very nice word.
