never studied guerrilla warfare huh ?? , to me thats just a heap of targets that dont have a great chance of countering attacks on their own soil ( base whatever)

and a goodly lot of supplies



but my military education was such that we would always be the lesser smaller force , and that would only work in our favour if you do it right ..

Right and requires such cooridation that in turn requires a sophisticated communications system which can not be electronic. Such gurellia groups as soon as they pressed their mike keys for than 15 seconds would get an arty barrage for a square kilometer from the estimated postion of the communication. I know I was in a arty target acquisition unit in the NG.

here is my electronic foot print but when i put the laptop away , its me and my rifle and the bush , and i know they've come looking for me with all their tools and toys in the past and we still elude them

i dont need no GPS to say where the enemy is , i can read a paper map
i can use a compass and i have a watch

all i need now is compatriots

and here i have a bundle

plan organise adapt to the situation to win and never ever surrender

I agree no surrender but it will have to be small old school units with experience like yours to train the youngsters. you are right with civilian support a guerrilla army just might wear down the central govt by making the war so expensive they will quit. The more civilians they kill in reprisal the larger the guerrila army gets.
