I just bought a house in a town so small it doesn't even have a main street. I'm on a canal that leads to a pretty good fishing and hunting lake. There isn't a liberal within 100 miles. Here, the government doesn't exist. My Gulf front house will be on the market as soon as I can get rid of all the junk and sell my offshore boat. I'm through with civilization!

Sorry Jack, but if you have not figured it out yet, let me explain it to you:

America has become a nation of lace-on-the-panties sensitivity trained pissants.

We have not the fiber of out ancestors because we have not ever been deprived of anything.

Maybe this can be a wake up call. I am afraid that is all I can hope for.

That is a world wide problem.

I dont believe in talk. Talk is cheap. Like i said the other day if you think your youth is gona jump in the streets and take it back your sadly mistaken. I am too old to jump but not old enough when you come to me.

Our military should have helped those in need at that embassy. The fact that they followed orders is heart breaking to me. It also tell me alot more.
You cant depend on them to do the right thing. SO much for that BS i'll protect aganist foreign or domestic enemies. Like i said talk is cheap.

We are entitled to a day of it, we will ALWAYS get back up and fight again. Like I said, let us spew our anger for a day. You would most likely be right there with us. Tomorrows a new day.

I'll admit I'm having a what the heck just happened kind of day, but it's coming true where there are more of the takers than the makers in this country. When you think about it, most colleges are left wing socialist propaganda machines, so our youth are brainwashed into believing that trash. as for the "imported" labor, they come from making a dollar a day or less, and make 7,8, 10 bucks an hour here, and get all the freebies included with that because of course they are not on the books( hmm, how we gonna tax that) who do you think they are going to back. Me, I will not whine, but take a deep breath, regroup, adapt and make the best of the situation. that does not mean I will stop trying to educate others on the path they've chosen, nor does it mean I want the country more divided than it already is. But I think we wil have the last laugh when they start taking the takers benefits away, because the country simply cannot afford it. the old, don't blame me, you voted for him phrase will come back to haunt them

Thanks for the posts, Jack. We need the challenge.

It will take some fortitude, leadership, and creativity to win back what has been lost.

Where to start? What to do? How to do it?

Yes, DD, It takes time to feel the shock, dissapointment and sorrow; take some time out to mourn, but as you say, then get back up and start back in.

But don't take too long on the crying in your beer bit.

Just my .02 worth.

Stumpjumper, +1. When the money runs out and austerity measures start kicking in the backlash will hit hard. See Greece.

When we lose that, then I’ll start to worry. Until then, keep your powder dry.
You beter worry then. He signed that away over a year ago. It's called "The white house grounds and improvment act"

And no it's not about triming rose bushes in the garden.

Don't take my word for it. PLEASE PLEASE look it up.

I'm personally tired of the left coast and the northeast deciding who gets to be MY president. I've been talking around the house about it being time for another succession. Problem is getting the young generation of today to get off of twitter long enough to actually stand up and do what it takes to change things. Case in point: Occupy-The movement that went nowhere. I didn't support that movement, I'm just using it as an example of today's generation and their thought process.

It's water with bubbles and a splash of alcohol.

I took a nap eariler and when i woke up i felt betrayed. Here we are with a roge govt that doesn't protect our boarders. lets in illegals to vote for them. Makes us pay for them, food, shelter, medical, and on top of all of that the govt steals from us too. Throws away money at false energy BS while putting us and our kids in debt to our eyes.

Our govt officials have a fuduciary responsibility to us and they take and shove their agenda up our azz and we got to smile. BS. Storm is brewing.
