While not NEARLY as bad as that, I can somewhat relate. 1975, Camp Pendleton. Came back from TJ loaded with tequila and silver salutes. Decided in my severely drunken state to bomb the motor pool. Lit it, held her back preparing to throw, and the dang thing went off in my hand. Blew several holes in my right hand, lost two nails and about 30% of my hearing. Big bang. hand looked like bloody hamburger. Bad thing is I still like to blow stuff up lol

Sounds like the guy is trying to sue somebody, over his own alledged actions/decisions, I'll reserve comment on that, other than, "when you play with fire.........."
