SAN ANTONIO -

A man was fortunate to escape serious injury overnight after police said he accidentally shot himself in the head.

The shooting happened just before 12:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Sterling Street.

San Antonio police say the 27-year-old man didn't know the gun was loaded when he showed it off to his girlfriend.

My brother-in-law did that years ago and didn't survive his stupidity...the 15 year old girl seated across from him at the time spent years in counseling. He was and always had been an idiot.

Obviously it was the gun manufacturer's fault for not making the gun idiot proof. And the gunshops fault for selling an idiot a gun that is not idiot proof. And the Govt's fault for allowing the manufacture and sale of guns that don't meet idiot proof standards. And his parents fault for giving birth to an idiot. Did I miss anyone?

The gunshot wasn't fatal because there wasn't anything of importance there to injure.

this is my exact wish; give everyone a gun, everyone.

within a few months, all the dummies will have either killed each other or been killed. Then the US would be a great place indeed!
