I'm sure there is only one opinion here on this and it's don't reinstitute the federal assault weapons ban. But signing a internet petition won't do anything about it, just like all the petitions to leave the union. Those petitions don't mean squat.

They call this a Democratic society but we all know that if only one bad apple doesn't want or like something then they can get change. Why can the majority demand the Govenment to reinstate things like the Pledge of Allegiance or Prayer or even our 2nd amendment to own and carry or possess firearms! Only one is all it takes to take something away from many. What is up with that?

I live in a Republic not a democracy. Judiciary is 1/3 of the government and has the power.
