cpttango, you're going to need alot of tenderizer for that, plenty of iron in it though!

I was talking with a lady from our church last night and she says that she is over-run with does and has invited me over to thin the herd. Says I can sit on her front porch and take care of it. All she wants is some venison out of it. I told her no problem and thanked her.

We killed off most of the does in the northern half of Pa years ago. Now seeing a deer in the woods is a rare thing. Gary Alt and his gang, that screwed up our deer hunting has moved to Wisconsin and is screwing up their deer herd. Any farmer will tell you...Killl off the cows, and soon there is no herd!

Didn't go during the center-fire portion, had intended on going out with my shooting buddy to his "special place" but he was in a motorcycle accident last Sunday and won't be walking anywhere for quite some time, severed the tendons completely just above the knee on his right leg...wife and I are taking him and his wife some homemade chicken and dumplings tomorrow and just visit...

Smile Re: Deer Hunting

Took another big doe yesterday.I was sitting on some rubs all day but did not see a rack and at 4:30 with the light almost gone she waked up and was ready to bust me(hunting on the ground)so instead of herring the snort and seeing the flag which would end the day that late anyway I added her to the freezer.
