Christmas Project Help - The Firearms Forum

Hi All,
OK, here's the plan, care packages with a meal, bottle of water and Christmas card to be given to the homeless. Here's where we need help, we want to include a bible verse in the card. There are so many good verses that we've come up with and I'm sure some that we haven't thought of. We want to grab their attention, stir their soul and let them know someone cares. Please help us add to our list to pick from.

Johnny, I recommend just browsing through Proverbs. There is so much there to choose from. I'll take a look later and find some good ones to put on cards.

For me, I find strength in many, but especially:

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

And when in trial:
Psalm 27:1-3 (KJV)
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
