I say heck yea for our men and women of the military and police forces, but it takes all of the fun out of it for a sportsman or target shooter. The best part is practicing to become a better shot.

What is the point of shooting? In the field it is all fine and dandy till the battery dies.

Not to worry though, I'm pretty sure that the price tag is going to keep it out of the average working man's budget for a long time.

Takes the pride out of shooting, wouldn't catch me hunting with one even if it was $100.

IMO, it may be quicker, but accuracy is still going to be in the hands of the individual placing the cross hairs, even in the initial cross hair placement. It would be interesting taking a descent shooter and pairing them against a sniper. That would be the real test. Then, a sniper vs. a sniper.

For me, it would be fun to experiment with but in the long run it would take the fun out of the reason that I shoot. I would be ashamed to be packing that while elk hunting. That set up basically tells the world, "I can't shoot worth beans so I need assistance."
