Default Question for the LNL owners

Does the drive hub (in the center of the sub-plate) that turns the shell plate have and up and down movement on your machine? I'm not positive but I thought mine was fixed and flush with the sub-plate surface.

I cleaned the sub-plate with a degreaser and the drive hub dropped down about 1/16" - 1/8" below the sub-plate surface. It moves freely up and down after cleaning and I don't believe it did that before. When the shell holder plate is bolted down the hub rises up.

The reason I ask is that after cleaning the machine seems to index better than before - not perfect, but better. I'm wondering if the drive hub could be causing the index problem. Hornady is closed today so I can't call them.
