Although I am a new member on this board, I wonder why there is no WW2
or Korean war forum. Being a WW 2 Inf vet (ETO) makes me wonder. After all all of us aint dead yet. I feel too many myths were around about small arms in these eras and those of us still left could comment on some.

Thanks for the suggestion, Joe. Our Vietnam Veterans board actually predates the Firearms Forum itself. It used to be on MSN, and Tac rescued it from oblivion when MSN decided to do away with it. I don't know as much about the history of the Gulf War board; I'll have to ask Tac about it. But we certainly hold no bias against WW2 vets or Korean vets. We are proud of all who serve this great country of ours.
I'll pass along your suggestion to Tac and see what all would be required. In the meantime, maybe you could make some posts in the General Military Arms and History Forum to share your knowledge and experiences with us. (BTW, my father was in the Infantry in the European theatre. He's very active in a group of Battle of the Bulge survivors here in MS.)
