-was here back when it was associated with ezboard and the
big brother of the Firearms Enthusiast. I still stop in over
there just to see how everyone's doing, though I don't post as much as I once did. A lot of the people still over there, are over here. Just getting time now to spend some time on the computer, and stopping back into some old haunts
look for the DW line in 2004-
There will be two GLOBAL variations-.45 and 10mm
Two commander variations-one standard and one bobtail
(ala Ed Brown) in .45 and 10mm
and Officers model all of which will be PATRIOT standards
and the 10mm Razorback will be upgraded to Patriot
standards. There will also be less expensive models in production.
All of the Patriot (top of the line) equivalents are made from
custom parts-CM, STI, and some others. They are also
less costly than the custom guns-
The new Globals are suggested retail at around $1195.
All of the rest -the suggested retail will be under $900.
Even now the 2003 Patriots can be had for under $650.
Accuracy to one inch at 25yds, w/ proof target enclosed.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think you could by the
same parts and have a gunsmith put them in a gun any
cheaper. I think they are worth the look. I'll try to post a
pic of my DW/DP/Pointman when it comes in and if I can
get to the range maybe a target as well.
Thanks for the welcome-
