I think this is going to be a great place to be. Look forward to getting to know you all. I just hope my wallet can support more encouragement to buy guns....

Hiya 3Phase. One of the benifits of this forum is great ideas on what bills may possibly be ignored to purchase a new toy, and methods of sneaking a new purchase past a spouce with minimal time frames of being cut off.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I don't want my woman to cut me off. Luckily, she likes guns as much as I do.

welcome 3phase
you can save money on buying guns ,If you follow postals pyramid scheme I send you a mailing list ,you mail a gun to everyone on the list ,then they will send you a list. Then, you add your name to the bottom of the list, moving the others up, and the top one off. You then print and mail out as many as you can, hoping others will do the same as you here is a sample list gpostal gone postal going postal went postal was postal is postal all you need is six guns to start out ,you can recieve 18 guns back right off the bat |

BigBoom-Yep, I'm an electrician.
SmokinGuns- I, too like rifles and pistols.... and shotguns, and airguns, and... well any projectile weapons. Faves are 1911's and AR's, over-under shotguns. God, I've been up all night. Gotta get some shuteye. See you fellas tomorrow. -Dave |

Welcome, 3phase. That handle reminds me of working on 3phase 440 circuits, soaking wet with fertilized water, standing on the phantom ground.

Welcome...welcome!!!
Dang Pops...that sounds really scary! I leaned on a 100a bus bar once...had gloves on too. Sent me to the ground! These days, something like that would explode my pacemaker! |

Evil, didn't you ever watch Ren and Stimpy?? Surely you learned from their board game ...
Don't whiz on the electric fence. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Awwww SM, but this was WAY before Ren and Stimpy.
Now that you mention it, my whole life has seemed a little cartoonish...wonder if they could show it on Adult Swim on the Cartoon Channel? (I won't go over the parachute qualifying we made the cats go thru at a freinds dorm back in the 80's, but one loved it so much he'd bring the sock harness to us when he wanted to go for another round.) ![]() |

I wondered if anyone would remember the days of phantom grounds. When I was working on them, only two places in the States still had them. We had 1680 delivered to our heads and we transformed to 440 ourselves. Working in the pumphouse, sometimes your feet would tingle and your hair would lift up your hardhat. Time to go look for the leak.
