The S&W Mod 66 is the stainless version of the Mod 19.
The Mod 65 is a stainless version of the mod 13 M&P which is a Mod 10 in .357 Mag. and fitted with a heavy barrel. Are you confused yet ? ![]() |

Sights are the big difference. The other is the barrel contour. The Model 65 will either have a 3" or 4" heavy barrel, where the Model 66 has a 2 1/2", 4" or 6" barrel with the lighter contour of the Model 19.

I would choose the Model 66 with the adjustable sights.
Would remind me of my original S&W model 15 but in stainless and .357 Mag.
