I seem to remember they were around $129.99 or $139.99, They are now $117.99 at my Walmart for the model 60 wood blued. I have a few, but why not get a couple of more at that price., I can play around with them and customize them my way.
Is each Walmart different, or is it the same nationwide?.

If it helps, Remy, the last Model 60, plain model blue/wood stock, I bought was at Wally World in Jasper, Alabama, for alaflyguy.
That was about five years ago at Christmas time. I paid right at $115.00, and thought it was a bargain, including tax at 8.5%. He wanted that model specifically as he wasn't too happy shooting my 39. I think the young whipper-snapper just liked the idea of a shot each pull until the magazine was empty. They are nice rifles but not quite up to the standard of SoMo's Glenfield Model 60. Hers has all metal parts and shoots extremely well.

I grew up with my Glenfield, has a nice aluminum "self made" front sight that is dead on! Having a little problem of feeding the first round though, any comments?

Mine seem to like Winchester Wildcat ammo. No feeding or jamming problems at all.
