Question Chinese MAK-90

Can standard AK-47 magazines be used in a MAK-90 or have the MAK-90's been modified so much that this will not work? I am interested in purchasing one and wanted a little info about them.
All I know is that they are modified AK-47's and they were first imported in 1990. Is $500.00 too much to pay for one of these firearms?

MAK-90's will accept high-capacity magazines.

They sell regularly on ********* for under $400.00.
