Subject: New Mexico Cow Elk Hunt

The Canning Ranch in Capitan, New Mexico, has 4 openings for an upcoming 3 day cow elk rifle hunt to be held in October and November for the disabled.

The ranch is a fenced operation that sits at the foothills of the Capitan mountain range. The nearest commercial airport is located in Roswell which is approximately 1 hour away from the ranch. Rental cars are available at the airport.

The cost of the hunt is $500.00 which includes your guide, field care, caping and quartering. Lodging is available on the ranch for only $50.00 per day and includes some meals although the hunters should be prepared to supply other meals. Since this hunt will be held on a fenced property, there are no permits or license fees. The cost of the hunt does not include, boning, packaging, or gratutities.

All interested hunters should contact Cam Tribolet at ctribolet@juno.com by June 30th. A drawing for the 4 hunters will be performed on July 1st. At the time of award for the hunt, the hunters will need to be prepared to send a $250.00 deposit to the outfitter and schedule a date for arrival.
