Ranger makes a good boat. A very stable fishing platform, but not the fastest boat on the water due to weight and hull design. But they do have alot of "lift", therefore a smooth ride.

Most all of the quality bass boats today are very much the same in durability within their perspective price ranges. Each has it's good points, and loyal followers the same as we find with firearms brands. You'll of course find some who will have negative comments as well.
Ranger has been around a while, is one of the higher priced, and known for quality workmanship. The price you've mentioned would indicate it as a used boat, as the high 30's is pretty much the standard for new rigs depending on boat length and horsepower. Caution here... Have someone look at the hull and engine that knows what they are doing! Even a great price won't make up for problems on the water. |
