My apologies if this isn't the right board to post this on, but I couldn't find any that dealt with my question.
I have a Stoeger Cougar 8000 (9mm) that I use primarily for home defense. A great handgun, but the stock sights on it are freakin' awful. So I've been thinking of putting some Trijicon night sights on it, but I've never used them before. Since I want to use it for home defense, I want night sights that are best suited for me to use in my home when the lights are out with a flashlight. What color would be best? The red, amber, or green? Should I mix up the front and back sight colors or should it be all the same color?

most common is green on green. Keep your predominate color up front. Green is the brightest. The Beretta 8000s sights should fit that gun.
