I cant figure out what to oil this stock with to return it to its natural black color...It looks as though the oils I use to lube the piece will occasionally wick out, and produce a nice black color, but when I use those same oils on the stock it just turns white again.
Any ideas? ~Crp

Good news though, I just gave it a bath in some Break Free, and it looks like it's going to dry to a nice desirable finish...Hard to beat the CLP! LOL. Thanks for your response. ~Crpdeth

I've had good luck with armour-all on my AR's. Go easy or you'll make it slick...

You have to be careful with some of that stuff...those petrochimical solvents may make it look good for a while but over time they ruin the stuff.
