Default Marlin/Glenfield MOD50

I have received a Glenfield model 50 from my grandfather. He passed away. I don't think it's ever been fired. He bought it for protection in the mid to late 70's I think. I can't find a serial number anywhere. I was wondering what it was worth. Can anyone tell me where i can find out more about it? It is not in the box, but is in pretty much mint condition.

Marlin 50

No serial # because it was made 1931-1934
Value $100-125

I have no Marlin/Glenfield 50 in my book

Are you sure it's not a Marlin 60 and just looks like a 50??

Slow down, everybody.

The Marlin/Glenfield Model 50 is a bolt-action 12ga shotgun, versions of which were made through the 1990's.

This particular gun is pre-1968, obviously, but was probably 1950's-1960's manufacture.

No collector value here. Shooter value around $100-$150 depending on the market.
