Alabama Hunts Offered
No Cost Alabama Bow and Rifle Trophy Hunts Offered
Thanks to our generous sponsor Streamlight, and some very giving landowners, we are able to offer some hunts for disabled individuals in central Alabama near Camden and west central Alabama near Tuscaloosa. These hunts will be on various trophy managed properties with some doe tags available. Hunters will be selected by the hosts from applications emailed to the address below.
Some Streamlight scholarships for out of state licenses and lodging will be awarded. We will select a certain number of hunters needing scholarship, and a certain number of hunters who do not. Please apply for a scholarship ONLY if you had an INDIVIDUAL gross income of UNDER $25,000 on your 2003 tax return.
Volunteers will guide hunters and help with game retrieval and care. We cannot provide butchering or meat storage Dear will either be gutted only, or skinned and quartered in some cases. Lodging is not available on these sites, but can be obtained in either Camden or Tuscaloosa, depending on which hunt you are chosen for. Tuscaloosa sites carry a 6 point minimum on Bucks, and the Camden location an 8 point minimum. Doe tags will be awarded upon availability. Blinds and stands will be provided, and the transportation to and from them. Hunting will be done primarily on food plots. Each hunt will involve from 1 to 6 hunters. Out of state licenses are $77.00 for a 3 day permit. Hunts will be from 1-3 days in duration. Please apply only if you are seriously interested, and indicated the dates you would be available. For dates available you can indicate “any”, “any weekend”, “any weekday”, or the specific dates. Archery season starts October 15th and ends January 31st. Rifle season starts November 20th and ends January 31st. When indicating the type hunt applied for, you can indicate “archery”, “rifle”, or “archery and rifle”.
