Default H&K VP70

A local store hs a VP70 for sale. It's 9mm, comes in the original box with 2 18rd. clips. They are asking $399. Is it a very reliable gun? I know I've seen it priced higher, is it worth it?

I've never heard anything but good stuff about this gun. But, never had one myself. They are a bit large in the grip, so I would suggest holding it to see if it fits your grip. That price sounds a bit low to me.

If I got my models right, this gun used to be offered in full auto as well, now that's a handful!

If you like the gun, sounds like a reasonable deal to me.

From the Blue Book:

H&K VP 70Z:

98% - $475
95% - $400
90% - $350

The extra magazine would be a bonus.

Absolutely horrendous double action but reliable. Sounds reasonable to me but make sure it is 9X19 instead of one of the other 9mm variants.
