My only hunting Schrade is a no. 497 with the emblem "49th" on the sheath. I actually was going to keep it as a collectible. I've had it for at least 30 years. I suppose if someone made a serious offer I would consider it, but I don't know if this is near what you want.

FYI, I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and they had Schrades in stock, including an X Timer hunting knife (full tang, good synthetic grip) with sheath for about $30. The same blade in a locking folder is $35. I bought one of each, and they still had more in stock.

Is the "Deer Hunter" an upswept blade, very sharp point, about 3 1/2" blade, brown delrin handles, stamped Schrade #152? If so, I have one sitting in the back of my closet, that I picked up at a gunshow.

I think my knife has a #165 on the blade and hunter orange handles and the blade is about 5-6 in long with the upswept tip.
Thanks though
