Well I finally got a blacktail 2 point with my Remington .280 ks. Leupold V-II 3x9 - 150yrds. I forgot to get a picture untill after we already started cleaning

Looks like a nice one! Are they in the rut yet where you are at. My guess is no,or just begining judging by all the fat on that bucks a$$... um I mean hind quarters. do you guys peel the hide down or do you use skinning knives? its nice to see a garage thats not neet and orderly. ( mine has one, man width path front to back due to all the projects I am working on right now) my wife peaked in there the other day and said "oh my gosh"to which I responded yep we need a bigger garage, then she said nooooooo you need to clean!! ![]()

The .280 is one of the best, although underappreciated, rounds out there, imho. |
