Default Finally, an opportunity to march to a different drum

Yay!! The drums are drumming!! Took possession of a newly manufactured Thompson Drum last week. Prior commitments prevented testing it out this weekend - but hopefully I'll get a chance to run to the range during this week. Nothing like the sunsetting of the AWB to drop the price on things like 50 round Thompson Drums.......!!!! Now, my gun looks complete - pictures later when I can get it to the range.

Alright we're ready for those pics now!

LOL, I have a friend who bought a used Tompson, filled up a big fat mag, went out to a pond to squeeze off a round at a turtle head and the thing was full auto, almost cut down a small tree on the other bank.

He was just a little ticked off when he carried it back to get his money back.

We recently sold two new in cases 1928 Thompsons. They should have been pricey, but were not. Should have brought $25,000. to $30,000. each, but the man in charge got over anxious and let them go for $10,000. each. Neither piece had the slightest flaw. They were museum quality.
I ran both guns to be certain they were okay, then cleaned and repacked them.
