Default Pictures of my daughter's 2 deer she shot this weekend.

Here is the little doe she shot at 150 yards Saturday evening:

Here are 2 of the 8 point buck she shot Sunday evening at 100 yards and it fell dead in it's tracks. Here custom 243 Mauser is the rifle she is holding and used.

Atta girl! Good shooting!
JJ, if you aren't proud of that, nothing can make you proud. Just be sure she says "thank you", 'cause she got taught, and well, it seems!

tell her that if I ever get to come up there to hunt I want her to be my guide

Seems you two are close as well...ya cant beat that these days. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that I liked, it said "on the creeks, and off the streets"...If the good Lord ever blesses us with children I hope they love nature as much as I do.

Where did she hit these two at? Good solid heart/lung shots? Whats your daughters name?

More details Man!

Thanks for all the compliments. I feel if you rais them right with good moral values and a strong sense of family togetherness, they will turn out well. I reckon it has worked so far. Her name is Lenisa and both shots were one shot, one kill in the heart-lung areas! The doe moved about 2 feet from where it was shot and the buck dropped dead in it's tracks. Doe was 150 yards out and buck was 100 yards out.

Yes we are close, a bit too much like one another according to mother! We bicker all the time but pull practical jokes on each other a lot. Pa and some others on here have seen her 2 younger brothers, one is 17, 6 feet, and 242 pounds while the other is 15, 6'1", and 170 pounds. Both will fight a running saw mill as will Lenisa! Her boyfriends have to pass mom and dads test first then her brothers next and her brothers are harder on the boyfriends than we are. Only one has made it past the first meeting and we all call him either "dufus" or in my case "dumba$$" but the sad part is Lenisa calls him dufus as well! He even answers to it. Rtght now he is upset because he has not shot a deer and Lenisa told him if he wants deer meat she will take pity on him and go shoot one for him! She cuts him no slack! All 3 of my kids were raised with a strong sense of " family" and her brother's girl friends must pass her test first. They could try to kill one another but if anyone picks on any of the 3, they are picking on all 3 of them whether they know it or not! She is in a way one of 3 of my best friends in the woods. When they leave the nest I will hope they come in during hunting season so we can hunt.

Great job Lenisa and "Daddy"!!! I know the pride of seeing the kid's do it like we want them too!!! I don't ever need to shoot another deer as long as I can watch the youngsters do it!!! GHD
