It's been reblued, and is kinda loose but for $175, I coulsn't pass it up.
I hear there is some way tightening the action? Removing the hand and stretching it with a hammer? Anyone ever do this on a revolver?

Depends on what you mean by 'loose.'
Old-school methods of peening the hand stretch it slightly to clean up the timing. A better method is to fit an oversized hand such as available from Ron Power. Also, the crane can be swaged, turned and endshake bushings fitted to tighten up the cylinder fore-and-aft movement. Lots of stuff can be done, depends on what the problem is.
