I have a brand new 6-inch Smith & Wesson 629 with pinned barrel, recessed chambers, smooth wood S&W grips and wood presentation case.

Also an early-model Model 6-inch 686 with stamped S&W sideplate (most are stamped on the cylinder release side).

Do either of these have any collector's value?

Thanks!

The 629's value is still as a shooter, although some are paying premiums for the P&R. Figure $550.

The 686's are selling well also in the $400 range.
