Default Allie's First deer

Much to the dismay of her older brother, Allie was the first to shoot a deer this morning about 8 AM. First deer of the season for the Booger household & her first deer ever.

So far the rest of the guys are still hunting & empty handed !

Be sure to tell her congrats from me.

And that she's lucky she doesn't live in Greenland, when you get your first caribou - you are going to take a bite of the still warm fresh heart.

It was a small deer, but her first and I am very proud of her! She shot it 100 yds away across the swamp, off hand with her 243 single shot handi rifle! 1 shot, instant kill!

It was one of only two deer we seen all day! This was the worst opening day Ive ever seen, We hardly heard any shooting all day!! Yet the WMO's tell us there are deer behind every tree!! Yeah right

There were 10 of us hunting today and Allie shot the only deer!!! She is pretty proud!!! She's really giving the boys a razzin!!!

Pa, my daughter said the Mitchell house hold knows what it is like when the girls kick butt first during deer season. Joey or Jesse have yet to get one this year!

Tell Allie there is a 17 year old girl here in KY that says, "way to go and rub it in hard on the boys AND daddy too!!!"
Tell her I said congrats and take it as a compliment to yourself because it was you who taught her! I know Dad is as proud or even prouder than she is, been there, done that!
