Default Bought a New gun

Dropped Mrs njretcop off at Barnes & Noble to research Punchie's question on his giveaway. (I think she found the answer)

Then I went to gun store to get my mind off American Presidents for awhile. One of the clerks I know at the store showed me a S&W 3913TSW they just took in from a police dept. It is like mint condition and after a little haggeling and police discounts, I bought it for 295.00.

I didn't get it though, because NICs is down today for the holiday. Gotta go back Monday to pick it up. I really like the 3919 because of the ambidexous safety, (I'm left handed) decocker and satin stainless finish. The downside is no hi caps available for it. Course I never need more than one shot!

Anybody else own one of these guns?

Real good little guns. Dependable and good service accuracy but overly complex like most S&W autos. Oh, and Carol said to let you sweat over the answers. That if she had to sweat getting them you were just S.O.L.

Since you couldn't figure out Punchie's question I guess you don't have much choice but to buy one.

He interrupted me several times while I was reading at Barnes and Noble to tell me about the gun. I'm still surprised that he bought it since he talked himself out of a gun at Cabela's on Monday.

You'll enjoy the Smith, Charlie. I have a few of their semi's and really like shooting them. But a KELTEC?? Your scrownging the bottom of the barrel arn't you? Besides, you won't be able to work the DA only action.

Steve,

It's all Pa's fault. He sold me on how great the Kel Tec is and I went for it.

I'll probably donate it to the Salvation Army after I get it and take it to the range the first time. Stand by for a range report next week........

Who knows, maybe I'll win a real gun from Punchie

OOPPPS Carol forgot to sign off......
