New ones...HEHEHEHE got to give the wife some poo.... I told her all terrains or Light Truck... But I have not purchased tires for a truck that spends 99.9% of its time on the road but when it hits the dirt I don't want to get stuck.... This truck is 2wd also...

I've had good luck with Cooper.Kind of a mid-priced tire and I get a lot of miles out of them.

BF Goodrich All Terrains
No other tire out there is better in my opinion. And that is what it is, is opinion. I have had good luck with them, but also like the look of the Toyo's I have seen. Never had a chance to try them yet though.

I'll vote for the BF Goodrich All Terrains as the truck I just sold had a set and they were great. When the promo tires on my new Silverado are thrown away I'll go with another set of the Goodrich All Terrain tires.

I would also recommend the toyos. I bought a set for my jeep. They go real good in the mud for an all terrain and they are great on the road too.

I agree with the Toyo recommendation.
When I had a Toronoda several years ago, the Toyo tires did very well on a car that was a little hard on tires especially on the front. I drove that car 300,000 miles and Toyos were the only tires it had after the factory ones were replaced. Very satisfying experience. I have also used them on my current truck, a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4.

Another vote going to BFG All Terrain. I got a set for my S-10 last fall. Had no problems going though all the snow we had over christmas.
My Second choise would be Cooper Discover. Would have like to get those but were a little more money than the BFGs.

if you can find them Wide Climer A/T do great off and on road. Just like a BFG A/T but at half the price. I've turned quite a few BFG lovers on to them. they love em

I have BF Goodrich performance tires on my Vette and I love them.
Plumb broke my heart when I found out Goodrich is owned by the FRENCH! AKA Michelin Tire. But they are great tires and show great high mileage capabilities. In over 10,000 miles there's barely a mark on them. JMHO

I like the Cooper brand tires. I use them on the pickups and ran them on the bikes.
The school busses here and in many of the neighboring districts are running on Toyo. That says something for that brand. We do tend to go for safety rather than price. Pops |
