Default Oink!

Trapped a lil ol Momma hog (prolly 100 Lbs or there abouts) and three lil bitty oinkers today, heres me and my Twin Bro...He's tha' cigarette smoker.

Rick your right...Bout time to fire up tha grill...I need to get another smoker in the worst way, either that or try to build a smokehouse, that would be cool.

This makes 11 pigs this year...'Bout a month, maybe a month and a half before I wire the door open for the year...Hope to get a couple more.

Oh, thats a Smith & Wess 41 Mag, if there are any firearm aficionados among us.

Thanks to my Mentor for the digi cam pics.

That is outstanding.

Thanks for the pics.

Shoting wild pigs with a handgun sounds like a good time...

Compared to domesitic pig - how does it compare. I have never had wild boar before.

Hey man, thanks for the compliment.

The hogs I've been getting are all pretty small with the larger ones going around 150 Lbs, opinions may differ but personally I cannot tell much difference in taste with these small ones, of course I prepare them in cassaroles and chilis ect, except for the backstrap which I have been slicing and pan fring for the most part... So if there were a hint of wild taste then it's being masked...I think the bigger ones, bores especially is where your gonna get that real wild taste, while I'm sure there are some big old bores down in this bottom, fortunately I'm just not getting 'em.

Oh it would Sam if I could convince the wife that we really need a smoker...I've been blowing and going a little too much lately so that'll have to wait.

Looks good though!

Man you got me fired up now. We are planning a couple of hog hunts in the next month or so. One down between Houston and Dallas, and the other out in Haskell.
