New ak-47 - The Firearms Forum

I'm looking for a new in the box ak-47. I heard there's a couple different manufacturers that make them. Any suggestions?

There are a bunch. Look around on Cheaper than Dirt and AIM surplus. I dunno about gun laws in Michigan, but you can find a WASR-10 around here for $500, total. If you don't care about pretty or brand name, the WASR-10 does the same thing as any of them.

This is the most comprehensive reference I've found, after serious research.
I have the Yugo AB72 underfolder, and that's as hard core AK as they come. It can't be made to be pretty, but it can't be made to malfunction.
