Default santa fe

i have found a santa fe Model 1949 made by golden state arms corp in pasadena califorina and well i have been told it would be quite valuable if the stock had not been modified. what i need to know is if there is any way to get an original stock and a Magazine i also need to know a caliber. it is a bolt action rifle any one with info please email me

Hi djkarnes......welcome to TFF.

That's going to be a tough one. Golden State Arms didn't actually manufacture firearms. They imported and subcontracted various firearms constructed by European and Japanese manufacturers.

I'd suggest that you take the rifle to a gunsmith for a "hands on" examination. He should be able to tell you the caliber, and perhaps who the actual manufacturer was. He might also know of a source for, or can order you, the parts you need.
