Question Info on a Savage 187 S .22

Can anyone provide me with history,dates, etc for a 187 S rifle.

Hi 7 Cav.........welcome to TFF.

I don't find a Model 187 or 187 S listed in any of my references under Savage or Stevens.

Can you give us a complete description of the rifle, or, better still, post some pictures of it?

Yes that is the rifle but mine has the Springfield scope ( factory ? ) on it.One bit of info I have gotten is that it was a 60's vintage piece. She shoots great, feels nice also. Mine was $65. Gunparts Corp. doesn't have it in their yearly ' bible '.
